This was our customer’s childhood dollhouse that she brought with her from England when her family came here in the early 1920's. It belonged to her Mother before she received it as a present. She decided to have us restore it. We were able to save the original house except for the front walk. On the inside all the original fireplaces, the original interior doors, and original windows with real glass were kept. She decided to give it a more modern feel. We were not able to save the original stairs, as they had too much damage from age. The front brick on the house is still the original brick. The cracks on the outside of the house were not retouched so as to keep the outside as original as we could. We painted the sides and the back of the house with a red stone paint to compliment the brick.
